Billing & Insurance Info

At Columbus Psychological & Counseling Services, LLC, we offer in-network and self-pay options to cover the cost of therapy services. Clients are responsible for understanding their healthcare policy, such as annual deductibles, co-payments, and/or co-insurance. We are here to help answer questions about how in-network insurance works and what questions to ask your insurance company to ensure your therapist is in-network with your company and prevent “surprise” costs of therapy. Your therapist can help answer questions regarding rates and insurance upon scheduling the first session.

Accepted In-Network Insurance:

  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • Medical Mutual of Ohio
  • Ohio Healthy
  • OSU Health Plan
  • Ohio Health Choice/Ohio PPO Connect (MedBen, Allied Health Benefits, Aultcare, Contigo, Health EZ, HealthSmart, Luminare, Mutual Health Services)

Self-Pay:

For clients who prefer to pay out of pocket, the full session fee is due at the time of service. Therapists can provide clients a “superbill” for each session that contains all necessary information for their insurance company to process a claim for that session. The amount you paid will be applied to your deductible, or a portion of it will be reimbursed to you, depending on your policy.

Accepted forms of payment for session costs and co-pays are:

Cash, check, debit card, credit card, and health savings account debit cards for qualified medical expenses.
